Hunter's Chilling Bigfoot Encounters in Oregon's Wilderness

A thrilling account of a hunter's encounters with Sasquatch has recently been shared on the YouTube channel Salish Sasquatch. The video, titled "A Hunter’s Encounters with Sasquatch in Washington and Oregon | Observing Bigfoot for 8 Hours," features Tyler Barnes, a seasoned hunter who has had multiple run-ins with these elusive creatures. During his 2003 camping trip with his pregnant girlfriend near Wind River, Tyler and his partner witnessed what they believed to be a Sasquatch. While trying to get cell phone service, his girlfriend spotted something in the distance. At first, she thought it was an elk, but Tyler quickly noticed the arm moving and the stride, which led him to realize that it was no ordinary animal. Unfortunately, the Sasquatch disappeared before they could get a better look. Years later, in 2018, Tyler had another memorable encounter while bear hunting in Washington. He was camping in a rooftop tent, which is elevated about 5.5 feet off the ground. At around 2 AM, he heard some rubbing on the tent. Thinking it was a bat or something similar, Tyler initially dismissed it. However, the rubbing continued, and he could feel the tent being pushed in. Unable to move due to an inexplicable feeling of fear, Tyler was left to listen to the mysterious entity outside his tent. Tyler's most recent encounter occurred on September 1st, 2022, while archery hunting in Oregon. As he was walking, he heard snapping and popping in the bushes. Looking through his binoculars, he saw what appeared to be the top of a head moving. Although he couldn't be certain at first, Tyler soon realized that he was looking at a Sasquatch. Throughout the day, Tyler observed the creature from a distance, catching glimpses of its side profile and distinctive jaw. He also noticed a strong, pungent smell, which he believed was coming from the Sasquatch. Although he couldn't see the entire creature, Tyler is confident that he encountered a juvenile Sasquatch.
