A recent video posted on YouTube by the channel JFM: The Pulse of Imagination has caught the attention of Bigfoot enthusiasts and researchers. The video, titled "THE WEEKLY STRANGE: Episode 1 - Is Bigfoot In Maine?", explores a report of strange tracks found in the woods of Southern Maine in February 2025.
The video's host, John F Murs, discusses how the tracks were larger than a size 12 boot and the distance between the tracks was 7 to 8 ft, indicating that the stride of the creature was exceptionally large. The tracks were found on the 30 acre property of Steven Bartlett, who was taking a hike during a snowstorm. Bartlett followed the tracks for roughly 150 ft until they became unrecognizable due to the weather.
Bartlett noted that the tracks cut through several deer beds, leading to the question of whether the creature was out searching for a meal or if its path just coincided with the locations of where deer bed down for the day. The field investigator from the BFRO (Bigfoot Research Organization) who checked out the account made note of the fact that the nearby Kenyon Hill preserve has several huge granite rock outcroppings that might conceal caves or overhangs that could be used for shelter.
The video of the tracks has caught the attention of both amateur and professional Bigfoot researchers, who have concluded that the size of the alleged creature must be larger than that of an average man. The change in stride and the footsteps becoming more numerous as the video progresses has led to speculation that the creature may have been slowing down or stopping to look around.
The location of the sighting, just 66 miles from a large city and surrounded by 500 acres of conservation and trust land, is particularly interesting as it suggests that the creature is living in close proximity to major metropolitan areas.
I find this video to be intriguing and it adds to the growing body of evidence that Bigfoot sightings are not limited to the Pacific Northwest. I encourage our readers to watch the video and share their thoughts with us.
