A new and intriguing account of a possible Bigfoot encounter has recently emerged on the YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory. The channel features a podcast where individuals can share their own personal experiences with the elusive creature. In this particular episode, the host interviews Dan from Hillsboro, Illinois, who recounts his strange and unsettling encounter with what he believes to be a Bigfoot. Dan, a retired Correctional Officer, owns a property in Donaldson, Illinois, where the encounter took place. He had been clearing the area around his pond in preparation for his wife's birthday party when he heard a loud and unusual sound. At first, he thought it was a speaker playing a recording of a lion's roar, but he quickly realized that there was no speaker in sight. The coyotes in the area also began to act strangely, adding to the eerie atmosphere. In an attempt to communicate with the creature, Dan mimicked the sound he had heard and even tried to knock back. To his surprise, the woods fell completely silent. The next day, Dan returned to the property and found two large bones by the pond. He also heard loud knocks coming from the north, which he tried to answer, but never received a response. Dan's account is particularly interesting because he had never heard a sound like the one he heard before, despite owning the property for over 30 years. He also mentions the possibility of leaving food out for the creatures, as he often leaves apples and pears by the pond for the animals. While Dan did not actually see the creature, his account is still valuable to the Bigfoot research community. Encounters like these help to paint a picture of the creature's behavior and habits. It's also a reminder that Bigfoot sightings are not limited to certain regions or forests, but can happen anywhere. If you're interested in hearing Dan's account in his own words, be sure to check out the Sasquatch Theory podcast on YouTube. And as always, keep your eyes and ears open while out in the woods. You never know what you might encounter.
