Bigfoot Sightings in West Virginia and Virginia: Two Chilling Encounters

A new video posted on YouTube by the channel Ontario Cryptids has been making the rounds in the Bigfoot community, and it's easy to see why. The video, titled "We Just Saw A Sasquatch! [EP-257]," features four encounter stories that are sure to send shivers down your spine. The first story takes us back around 40 years ago, when the witness and a friend were horseback riding alongside the railroad tracks between SR2 7 and King Estate Road. As they were heading south towards King Estate Road, they noticed a smell like something was dead, and heard branches breaking in the woods. The horses started to act up, and that's when they saw it - a Sasquatch, about 15 yards away from them, standing in the middle of the railroad tracks. The witness describes it as slim, covered in reddish brown hair, with long arms and no neck. It was at least 6 and 1/2 ft tall and around 250 lb or better. The second story comes from the Pocahontas County near the Mananga Hila National Forest. The witness describes hearing a howl much like the one from Ohio, and heavy footsteps coming down the field. They could hear the sound of this creature pushing an old fence down, and the smell of a horrible stench in the woods. The third story takes us to a mountain named Spruce Flat, where the witness heard the same vocalization as the previous stories. They describe it as a high-pitched hoot, but dragged out kind of long. They also mention that something powerful must have pushed the old fence down. The fourth and final story comes from late October of 2008, when the witness's oldest son called him in the middle of the night, scared or excited about something. He told his father to bring the spotlight and a shotgun with him, and when the witness aimed the spotlight where his son had indicated, he saw a large upright figure standing behind a tree. The animal was covered with brownish red hair, and appeared to be uniform in length except for the face, which appeared to be aplike. These stories are a fascinating glimpse into the world of Sasquatch sightings, and it's always exciting to hear new accounts of encounters.
