A new video posted on YouTube by the channel Bigfoot Encounters Narrated shares several captivating stories of Sasquatch sightings in British Columbia. The first encounter took place in January 1969, near Hope, when a skeptical witness had an unforgettable experience.
Driving from Hope to Princeton with his sister and friend, they encountered a creature crossing the road. The witness describes it as being over six to seven feet tall, with long arms, a thick torso, a slanted back, and an ape-like forehead. The creature's color was grayish, and it walked with long, deliberate strides. The witness was adamant that it was neither a bear nor a human.
The second encounter occurred in September 1969, near Rosland. The witness, along with his brother, his brother's girlfriend, and a friend, were driving on a dirt road with many hairpin turns, looking for UFOs. The witness saw a tall, gray, Bigfoot-like creature by a creek, drinking water. The creature then stepped up on the dirt bank and disappeared into the trees. The witness's friend also saw the creature and was frightened by the experience.
The third encounter took place in the summer of 1973, in Langley, British Columbia. A man on a horse, possibly a park warden, showed a group of children a hole in the ground, which he claimed was used to capture a Sasquatch a century ago. The park was named Sasquatch Park because of this incident.
The final encounter happened near Shaigan Lake on Vancouver Island, BC, in May 1974. A woman who lived near a summer camp reported that two of her sheep were missing. A counselor taking two kids to look for the sheep found sheep fur covered with blood on a barbed wire fence. Soon after, they heard a loud roar, and the counselor ran away, leaving the kids behind. The official story was that a bear was loose on the property, but the witness is convinced it was something more.
