A few months ago, I stumbled upon an intriguing video from the YouTube channel Rocky Mountain Sasquatch. The video, titled "Vrancea Yeti & Devils Mountain Bigfoot Round Table," shares an exciting personal experience from Kelly Shaw and his team during one of their expeditions in the San Juan mountain range, specifically on Devil's Mountain.
As they were enjoying their lunch, Kelly noticed a six-foot-tall stick structure in the forest, which he initially attributed to a human presence. However, as he filmed himself approaching the structure, he noticed movement in the draw below. Although he couldn't identify the source of the movement, he managed to capture a loud wood knock in response to a distinct sound coming from the same area.
The team's analysis of the footage suggests that the wood knock was likely made by a Bigfoot, making this a compelling encounter. The location of this event is particularly interesting, as it occurred between several reported sighting locations, which indicates a possible cluster of activity.
Moreover, a couple of weeks after the team's expedition, a photographer near Durango, Colorado, captured a Bigfoot trackway at Valico Reservoir, adding further evidence to the presence of a Sasquatch in the area.
This video is an excellent reminder that Bigfoot sightings can happen in unexpected places, even in between known sighting locations. It also highlights the importance of being aware of your surroundings and the potential for Sasquatch activity in areas with multiple reports.
