A thrilling account of a possible Bigfoot encounter in Alaska has been brought to my attention, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you all! The story comes from a welding assistant who worked on the Trans-Alaska pipeline in the 1970s. While on a break, he and a friend decided to go on a hike towards what’s called the Landing, located outside of Fort Yukon.
As the two friends were setting up camp for the night, the welding assistant noticed something strange. He kept hearing noises and saw eye shine in the distance. Although his friend, who was better acquainted with the area, dismissed it as a possible relative playing a trick, the welding assistant couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was off.
The two friends eventually decided to investigate the area using their only flashlight, which they had saved for emergencies. As they were walking along the tree line, they kept hearing scuffling through the brush. The welding assistant’s native friend called out to his relatives, but there was no response.
The encounter becomes even more intriguing when the two friends reach a small feeder creek. The welding assistant jumps over it easily, but his friend, who appears to be more inebriated, takes longer to make the jump. As they continue their journey, the welding assistant describes the terrain and the sounds they hear, leaving us all to wonder if they had a close encounter with a Sasquatch.
I don’t want to give too much away, so I highly recommend watching the video for yourself. It’s a fascinating account that left me feeling both excited and curious. Who knows, it might leave you feeling the same way too!
