A fascinating account of a Sasquatch encounter has been making the rounds on YouTube, and as a Squatchable curator, I couldn’t wait to share it with you. The testimony comes from Bob and Kathy Strain, who have dedicated their lives to studying archaeology, anthropology, and Sasquatch. Kathy, an archaeologist and anthropologist for over 20 years, has been researching Sasquatch for almost as long. She is the Forest Heritage Resource and Tribal Relations Program Manager for the Stanislaus National Forest.
During a Sasquatch conference, Kathy shared her incredible experience from Area X, a place known for its high level of Sasquatch activity. In 2012, the North American Wood Ape Conservancy invited Bob and Kathy to visit Area X and share their insights on the area’s unusual occurrences.
The Strains stayed in Area X for a week, and on the second day, they began to notice unusual sounds around their camp. Rocks hit the roofs of the primitive cabins, tree limbs broke, and wood knocks echoed through the woods. Kathy decided to stand still in the middle of the activity to see what would happen. She soon witnessed a branch being pulled down slowly and then released, all while Bob and the others were investigating other sounds.
Bob eventually joined Kathy, and they heard more sounds coming from a group of trees and brush. As he approached, Bob noticed a large fallen tree across a small trail. He chose not to cross it, fearing an injury. About 10-15 minutes later, Kathy spotted two Bigfoot creatures walking towards them from the same area where Bob had seen the fallen tree. Kathy immediately ran towards them, and the Sasquatch quickly disappeared up a steep hillside.
That night, the group experienced rock throws, glowing eyes, and the sounds of multiple Sasquatch surrounding their camp. The next morning, they discovered that the “logs” Bob had seen earlier were, in fact, two Sasquatch lying still and quiet in the ditch.
This captivating testimony is a must-watch for any Sasquatch enthusiast. The Strains’ expertise and firsthand account of their experience provide a unique perspective on the world of Sasquatch. I highly encourage you to watch the video and share your thoughts with our Squatchable community.
