In a recent video posted on the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch YouTube channel, some fascinating vocalizations were captured near the Appalachian Trail, close to the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. The video, which was sent in by a viewer named Shannon, features what sounds like Bigfoot howls and screams. Derek, the channel's host, shares that he has also had several encounters with these mysterious creatures in his neck of the woods, which is in the northeastern tip of Tennessee, about 15 minutes from the Appalachian Trail. He describes seeing a Sasquatch standing beside the road one morning and two in his backyard around 4:40 a.m. Derek also mentions that he has captured ey shine videos and photos, but they are hard to get due to the nocturnal nature of these elusive creatures. In the video, Derek shares that in the Cherokee language, Sasquatch is referred to as Yuna waha or tul kalu or nanu, which translates to "Mystic tribe" or "slope eyed giant." He mentions that these creatures are often described as a tribe of people that live in the forest and are known to play tricks on people's eyes. The video also features an encounter shared by John MB, who had a close encounter with a Bigfoot at a cabin rental in Whittier, North Carolina in 2021. John describes seeing a dark, tall creature on the porch, with broad shoulders and black hair. He grabbed his pistol and the creature grunted before disappearing into the woods. Cody D also shares his strange encounter in the foothills of North Carolina, where he and his friends stumbled across some tracks on a small bank on the river. The tracks led into the water, and Cody mentions that they were much bigger and heavier than his own. I am always excited to see new videos and encounters shared by our community of Bigfoot believers. These stories and experiences are a reminder of the mysterious and elusive nature of Sasquatch, and the importance of respecting and preserving their habitat. If you have had a Sasquatch encounter or have any evidence to share, please consider submitting it to the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch YouTube channel or to Squatchable. We would love to hear your story and share it with our community. And, as always, happy squatching!
