If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you'll want to check out this fascinating interview with James Shubsky from Margie's Outdoor Store in the Columbia River Gorge. James is an expert in all things paranormal, with a particular interest in Sasquatch sightings in the area. James is an infantry veteran, wildland firefighter, and nationally certified search and rescue EMT. At Margie's Outdoor Store, he has created a program to document eyewitness accounts of various phenomena in the area, including over 400 accounts of different types of paranormal activity. In this interview, James discusses his lifelong interest in Bigfoot, which began in his childhood in Ohio. He moved to Washington State in 1988 and has been fascinated by the Sasquatch sightings in the Pacific Northwest ever since. When he and his wife took over Margie's Outdoor Store, he decided to incorporate his interest in Sasquatch into the store's logo, and soon began hearing incredible stories from locals about their own encounters. The Columbia River Gorge, where the store is located, is a stunning and rugged wilderness area that is home to over 90 named waterfalls, caves, and a diverse range of wildlife. It is also the center of the Cascade Mountains, which range from British Columbia to Northern California and are home to two glacier-clad stratovolcanoes, Mount Adams and Mount Hood. James discusses the history of Sasquatch protection legislation in Scania County, where it is illegal to shoot and kill a Sasquatch and doing so can result in manslaughter charges. He also shares some of the incredible stories he has heard from locals, including sightings of a mysterious black panther creature known as the "Clickattat Ape Cat."
