Michigan Dogman Encounter: Woman's Shocking Wilderness Experience

A few videos have recently caught my attention on YouTube, and I thought they would be of interest to our readers here at Squatchable. The first video is from the channel Sinister Secrets, and it features two cryptid encounters that are definitely worth a watch. The first encounter took place in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the fall of 2017. Shannon Morgan, the woman sharing her story, was staying at her family's hunting cabin when she had a terrifying encounter with what she believes to be the Michigan Dogman. The cabin is located deep in the woods, about 10 miles from the nearest town, and is a place that Shannon has been visiting since she was a kid. On the second night of her stay, Shannon heard strange noises outside her cabin. At first, she thought it was just a large animal, but when she looked outside, she saw something that she couldn't quite believe. Standing near the trees was a massive dog, but it was standing upright on its hind legs. Shannon grabbed her rifle and fired a shot, but the creature bolted into the woods. When Shannon told her dad and uncle about the encounter, they laughed it off, saying that she must have seen a big wolf or a bear. But when they saw the marks on the cabin, they got quiet. Shannon's uncle, who has hunted these woods for 40 years, simply shook his head and said, "Sometimes it's best not to ask any questions." The second encounter in the video took place in rural Pennsylvania, about 15 miles outside of Altoona. The witness was staying at his uncle's cabin for the weekend when he heard strange noises in the woods behind him. At first, he thought it was just branches snapping, but then he heard a deep, rhythmic whooshing noise coming from above. When he looked up, he saw something massive gliding over the clearing. It was dark and blended in with the sky, but he could make out the shape against the stars. This thing had to be about 10 feet across, maybe more, and it moved slow, with wings that looked almost leathery. The witness couldn't believe what he was seeing, and he watched as the creature glided over the ridge and out of sight. The third encounter in the video took place in northern Arizona, near the Navajo Nation. The witness grew up around there and had always heard stories about Skin Walkers, but he never thought they were real. That changed one night when he saw something running alongside the road, keeping pace with his truck. At first, he thought it was a coyote or a large dog, but as he got closer, he realized that it wasn't moving like a normal animal. Its limbs were too long, and it had an unnatural gait. And then he saw its eyes – they were human eyes, reflecting the light from his truck. The witness panicked and floored it, pushing his truck as fast as it would go. The creature kept up for a few seconds before veering off into the bush. The witness made it home, but he couldn't shake the fear that lingered. He mentioned it to his grandfather, who is full-blooded Navajo, and he told the witness to never speak about it again and to be careful at night. These encounters are definitely intriguing, and they remind us that there is still so much we don't know about the world around us.
