Have you heard the chilling tale of Ape Canyon, where a group of miners were allegedly terrorized by Bigfoot in the 1920s? The Paranormal Podcast recently featured a conversation with Eli Watson, the director of the upcoming documentary "The Siege of Ape Canyon" by Small Town Monsters.
In this episode, Eli discussed the infamous case of the Ape Canyon miners, who were supposedly attacked by a group of Sasquatch creatures while mining for gold on Mount St. Helens. The miners claimed to have seen and shot at these bipedal creatures, which they referred to as "Mountain Devils." The attack lasted all night, with the creatures throwing rocks, shooting arrows, and attempting to break into the cabin where the miners had taken refuge.
Eli also shared his experience researching the case and how he discovered that much of the information available online was inaccurate or inconsistent. By delving deeper and speaking with experts, he was able to uncover new details and documents that shed light on what really happened during that eventful summer.
Small Town Monsters is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to fund their upcoming projects, including "The Siege of Ape Canyon." As independent creators, they rely on the support of fans to continue producing high-quality content about cryptids and the unexplained.
