As he searched for his wife, Alexander noticed what he thought was a burnt tree stump. However, as he got closer, he realized that it was actually a massive, three-times-larger-than-his-own head of a creature with a low forehead, big eyes, and a kind face. The creature's fur was overgrown, nappy, and black, and its eyes and lips were also black. Despite the strange and terrifying situation, Alexander felt no fear when he locked eyes with the creature.
