A new video has been making the rounds in the Bigfoot community, and I couldn't wait to share it with our readers. The video, posted by the YouTube channel Lazy Cowboy, takes us on a journey back in time to Bluff Creek, the site of the famous Patterson-Gimlin film from 1967.
The video starts off by giving us a brief background on the area and the events leading up to the filming of the iconic footage. We then get to see a 3D model of the Bluff Creek landscape as it would have looked that day back in 1967, which helps put things into perspective.
As we follow along the path that Roger and Bob took, we come across various landmarks and features that are familiar to those who have studied the Patterson-Gimlin film. One such landmark is a large mudslide, which is where Roger reportedly turned his camera on for the first time. We get to see a segment of Bob Gimlin riding his horse, Chico, as it drinks some water from the creek.
The video also touches on the controversy surrounding the exact location of the film site. Researchers have disagreed over which sandbar Patty actually walked over, and the video highlights one such alternate film site that is believed to be about 870 meters southwest of the actual film site.
