If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you'll want to check out the Area 58 Museum in Oakridge, Oregon. This museum is home to an impressive collection of Bigfoot artifacts, including items from the life of Peter Byrne, a prominent figure in Bigfoot history. You can also find items from Dom Monroe, who had his own encounter with the mysterious creature in Montana. One of the most exciting pieces in the museum is a set of Bigfoot knee impressions, donated by Tobe Johnson. These impressions are said to have been made by a creature weighing 1,400 pounds, and hair samples were even collected from the site. But the Area 58 Museum isn't just a place to see artifacts – it's also a hub for the Bigfoot community. The museum hosts events and festivals, and even has a gift shop where you can purchase supplies for your own Bigfoot research, as well as cute Sasquatch-themed decor and books signed by Peter Byrne himself. In addition to the museum, the Area 58 team also goes out into the woods for field research. Just recently, they had a walk-in who shared his own Bigfoot encounter, and the team was able to document his experience and even find some interesting evidence on his property. If you're interested in learning more about the Area 58 Museum and the work they're doing, be sure to check out their YouTube channel. And if you have your own Bigfoot activity to report, or if you'd like to share your own encounter on the podcast, you can reach out to the team directly.
