Tennessee's 1980s Bigfoot Sightings: Real Encounters Revealed

In a chilling video posted to the YouTube channel Sinister Secrets, several individuals recount their unsettling encounters with a creature that they believe to be Bigfoot in Tennessee during the 1980s. The first witness, Shannon Morgan, describes her encounter in Poke County in October 1986. She was taking a break near a campground when she noticed a strong musty urine scent and heard a low, deep, slow grunt. She then saw a large black and gray creature with a roundish head, gray eyebrows and mustache, a large flat blackish nose, and a square-shaped lower jaw. Shannon was understandably frightened and quickly drove away, but not before getting a good look at the creature's massive shoulders and short neck covered in more gray hair than black. In March 1987, a 15-year-old boy and his friend had a similar encounter while hiking in Monroe County. The boy saw a large white or off-white creature with shaggy hair, weighing over 400 pounds, and with a flat face and no visible ears or muzzle. His friend also saw the creature, and they both heard large tree limbs being shaken nearby. Just a few months later, in July 1987, a 14-year-old girl in Dixon County was walking home when a Bigfoot tried to take her bag of candy. The creature bruised her back, and her mother saw it standing outside their window, describing it as 8 to 9 feet tall with round eyes and coarse bushy hair. That same month, a teenage boy in Dixon County was frog hunting when he saw a 7.5 to 8-foot-tall black creature with muscular shoulders and no neck. Finally, in Fall 1987, a 17-year-old boy in Lincoln County saw a large creature on Teal Hollow Road while driving home from a friend's house. The creature was over 6 feet tall and almost half the width of his car. These accounts are truly terrifying, and it's clear that these individuals believe they have encountered something otherworldly. While some may be skeptical, it's good to remember that Bigfoot sightings have been reported for centuries, and many believe that these creatures are elusive and intelligent enough to avoid human contact.
