In a recent video posted on the YouTube channel Real Eyes Tv, some fascinating points are made about the similarities between humans and great apes. The video, titled "THIS VIDEO IS GOING TO MAKE YOU THINK TWICE!!" discusses the characteristics that all seven species of great apes share with humans, such as no tail, a large skull with a large brain, a curved spine, and an opposable or prehensile thumb. One particularly intriguing point made in the video is that humans and great apes have the same blood types (A, B, AB, and O), and in theory, they could donate blood to each other, provided they have the same blood type. However, the video notes that in reality, blood donations between humans and apes are unlikely due to the many differences in their blood that still need to be investigated. The video also mentions that great apes can easily catch colds or the flu from humans, and they are prone to runny noses and coughing and sniffing all the time. Additionally, great apes cannot speak like humans because their higher larynx or voice box means there isn't enough space between the soft palate and the larynx for the resonating cavity to be large enough. Interestingly, the video points out that some areas of the brains of great apes show a kind of preliminary speech center, which may be why they are able to grasp human sign language. Some apes know how to use more than a thousand signs, and they can create new words, such as a female gorilla who combined the signs for white and tiger to describe a zebra. Towards the end of the video, the speaker, Danny Benoir, founder of the ECB, makes some comparisons between great apes and Sasquatch. Benoir notes that Sasquatch, like humans and great apes, have opposable thumbs, which are useful for gripping and grabbing. Benoir also discusses structures found in forests, such as Tepe structures, and how they could be signs of territorial markers or shelters. Overall, the video provides some interesting food for thought about the similarities between humans and great apes and the potential connections to Sasquatch. It's definitely worth a watch for anyone interested in the world of the paranormal and cryptids.
