Tennessee Man's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter and Persistent Knocks

The witness, Derek, describes hearing loud pacing while riding his bike near his home in Southern Middle Tennessee in the mid-90s. One night, while getting a snack in his kitchen, he looked out the window and saw a large, dark figure with yellow eyes, standing at least 7-8 feet tall and peering at him from outside. Derek, who was around 10 years old at the time, was understandably frightened and ran back to his bedroom. However, the strange occurrences didn't end there. For several weeks, he heard three loud knocks on the back of his house whenever he was home alone. His mother even heard the knocks once, but Derek's parents were skeptical and he never discussed the matter with them. Despite the lack of communication with his parents, Derek remains convinced that there was something unusual in the woods near his home. He describes the figure as being twice as wide as he is, with a large head and eyes that were several inches apart. Derek also mentions that his grandmother's house, which was about a mile away, had a large field in between, and that his grandmother would often caution him against going into the woods.
