Yukon Prospector's Chilling Bigfoot Encounters: A Family Legacy

Bigfoot sightings and encounters continue to roll in from the Yukon, and we have another thrilling report to share with you. This latest account comes from Ernie McGregor, a 30-year resident of the Yukon who enjoys prospecting for gold with his family. Ernie and his wife, Kim, had a harrowing experience in a remote area northeast of Haines Junction during the summer of 2009. They were staying in a small canvas wall tent, about a 12-mile hike from where they parked their truck and ATVs. Around 10 PM, they were awakened by a loud hooting sound, followed by deep, resonant bellows just 100 yards from their tent. The vocalizations lasted for several hours, coming from two different directions, indicating at least two creatures. Ernie, concerned for their safety, got out of the tent and fired warning shots to scare them away. The following day, while hiking back to the truck, Ernie saw something large and black moving from tree to tree, parallel to them. In 2015, Ernie had another close encounter while prospecting alone for several days. When he returned to camp, he found it completely destroyed, with human-like footprints, double the size of his own tracks, leading away from the site. Ernie then saw a Bigfoot standing in the willows about 60 yards away, watching him. He described the creature as around 9 to 10 feet tall, with thick fur around its waist, resembling a full-grown grizzly bear. Ernie was frozen in fear, staring at the Bigfoot's face, covered in black, short hair, and its eyes sunk deep into its head. The creature eventually grunted and walked away. This life-changing encounter has left Ernie with a healthy respect for the power and presence of these elusive beings. Additionally, we have a chilling account from a witness named Russell, who shared his parents' 1992 encounter with Bigfoot near the small city of Mayo in Yukon, Canada. During a snowstorm, Russell's father heard a loud roar outside their cottage, and when he looked out the window, he saw three Bigfoots – one jet-black, one smaller with breasts, and a larger one with grayish-tan skin and snow-white fur. The creatures appeared to be communicating in a gibberish language.
