Missouri Man's 1972 Bigfoot Encounter: A Chilling Tale of Anger and Static

The witness, Steve, describes his experience in Missouri back in 1972 when he was just six years old. Steve and his friend were playing in a field near a subdivision when they stumbled upon a woven nest made of willow sticks. Steve recalls thinking that if his friend's brother had made it, he must be crazy, as it was clearly the work of an animal. The next time they were in the field, they heard a tree being ripped in half, followed by a black flash in the woods across the street. Steve then saw a 9-foot-tall, dark, man-shaped figure step over a barbed wire fence and walk towards them. The creature appeared to be aggravated and swung its arms as it approached. Steve and his friend were frozen in fear, but when the creature was about 40 feet away, they ran. They didn't tell anyone about the encounter until many years later, when they saw the Patterson-Gimlin film and realized that what they had seen was a Bigfoot.
