Wisconsin Vacation: Son's 'Caveman' Sighting Ignites Family's Bigfoot Quest

A fascinating account of a possible Bigfoot encounter has recently surfaced on YouTube, and it's definitely worth a watch for any Squatchable reader. The video, posted by the channel Bigfoot Encounters Narrated, features an individual named Shannon Morgan who claims to have seen a Bigfoot creature back in 1999. Shannon's story begins with her young son, Devon, who was six years old at the time and had a fascination with insects. Devon would spend hours watching bugs crawl up his arm, much to the amusement of his older siblings. However, after Devon claimed to have seen a "caveman" in the woods near their vacation home in Rylander, Wisconsin, his older sister Denise mocked him and argued that cavemen went extinct with the dinosaurs. This led to a heated argument between Denise and her mother, and Shannon couldn't help but chuckle at Denise's inaccurate retort. But little did she know, Devon's claims might not have been so far-fetched after all. Shortly after the argument, Devon began spending hours sitting by the window or outside in the backyard, staring into the woods. Shannon, concerned about her son's behavior, decided to join him one day and sit outside with him. That's when she saw it - a creature covered in shaggy gray fur, with a flat, wide face and beige-toned skin. Shannon immediately ran inside to grab her family, but by the time they came outside, the creature was gone. However, the family couldn't ignore the mysterious noises they heard coming from the woods that night. From that day on, Devon and Shannon bonded over their shared interest in Bigfoot and have since enjoyed watching countless books, movies, and documentaries about the creature. They even attended several conventions dedicated to the subject. The video also features a second-hand account from Tara, a woman from Montecito, California, who claims to have encountered a Bigfoot creature while camping with her boyfriend six years ago. Tara and her boyfriend had heard what sounded like a large woodpecker, but upon further investigation, they realized the noise was coming from something much larger and more mysterious. Both of these accounts are intriguing and add to the ever-growing body of evidence suggesting that Bigfoot might just be out there, waiting to be discovered.
