If you're a fan of the great outdoors and the unexplained, then you'll want to check out this video from the YouTube channel Base Camp Chris. In the video, Chris explores the wild and scenic national parks and forests, discussing the beauty and danger that can be found in these remote locations.
During the video, Chris shares a fascinating story about a former park service employee named Jenny who worked in Mount Rainier National Park in the 1990s. Jenny was a member of the trail maintenance crew and was responsible for fixing and maintaining the park's many trails.
One day, while working alone on a trail, Jenny had a terrifying encounter with a mysterious creature. She heard rocks clacking together and, assuming it was a bear, shouted "no bear, go bear" to scare it away. But the noise didn't stop, and Jenny became increasingly frightened. She picked up a rock and threw it into the brush, only to have it returned to her a short time later.
As Jenny continued to back away, she saw movement in a nearby tree and caught a glimpse of a dark, leathery face with flat features and deep-set eyes. She was convinced that she was face-to-face with a Sasquatch.
Jenny's story is just one of many intriguing tales of mysterious creatures and unexplained phenomena that can be found in our national parks. If you're a Bigfoot believer or just enjoy a good campfire story, then this video is definitely worth a watch.
