A new video from the Pacific Northwest Bigfoot Search YouTube channel has caught the attention of the Bigfoot community. In the video, titled "PNW Bigfoot Search - Into the Tillamook State Forest," Tanner Hoskins, executive director of the Pacific Northwest Missing Persons Project (PNW MPP) and co-founder of Pacific Northwest Bigfoot Search, shares his team's recent investigation in the Tillamook State Forest in Northwest Oregon. Hoskins reveals that the team has spent the past four years primarily in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon and Washington, but they have only logged a few hundred hours in the Tillamook State Forest, despite it being just 15 minutes away from their headquarters. He explains that modern-day sightings and incidents have significantly declined in the area since the mid-2000s, but that changed in 2020 when a pair of bow hunters reported a strange encounter. The bow hunters claimed to have heard a high-pitched vocalization that dropped in octaves toward the end and felt a rumble in their bodies, a sensation often associated with infrasound. They were unable to find any elk in the area, which is known for its abundance of Roosevelt elk herds. Hoskins and his brother investigated the area and found a track crossing an overgrown logging road. They also heard the distinct warning bark of a black bear, which they believe was accompanied by a bipedal hair-covered creature. Hoskins goes on to share other reports from the area, including one from an outdoorsman located near the Salmonberry River who experienced something violently shaking his trailer. He also mentions the forest's reputation for missing person cases, such as Jeremy Childs, Lester Barger, and Karen Harmon, who all vanished within or near its boundaries. As a Bigfoot believer and a female editor for Squatchable, I am excited to see the Pacific Northwest Bigfoot Search team investigating this area and sharing their findings with the community. The video is a must-watch for anyone interested in Bigfoot sightings and the mysteries of the Tillamook State Forest. You can check out the video on the Pacific Northwest Bigfoot Search YouTube channel and follow along on their social media for updates on their expeditions into this challenging landscape.
