Family's Awe-Inspiring Bigfoot Encounter at Glacier National Park

A summer vacation to Glacier National Park in the mid-90s turned into an unforgettable experience for Shannon Morgan and her family. While playing miniature golf with her three kids, Shannon had a close encounter with what she believes to be a Sasquatch. The family was on a tradition of embarking on a summer vacation, and this year they decided to head to Glacier National Park. However, with young children, they were limited in the activities they could do. Shannon's daughter kept pointing to something beyond the wooden fence of the mini-golf course. At first, Shannon thought it was just a piece of decoration, but then she realized her daughter was pointing at nothing. Through the gap in the fence, Shannon saw a grayish version of Harry from the movie Harry and the Hendersons. She quickly dismissed the idea that it was a person in a costume, as it was too large and muscular. The creature had a conical-shaped head and a massive jaw. Its head moved around in a way that reminded Shannon of an owl. It didn't make a sound, and after a few minutes, it turned around and trotted off on all fours. Shannon and her family watched in awe as the creature disappeared. Since then, Shannon has become a fan of cryptozoology and has a major appreciation for it. She has never seen any other cryptids, but she doesn't doubt that they exist. Shannon's story is a reminder that the world is full of mysteries and that we should always be open to the possibility of the unknown. In another encounter, a 15-year-old boy and his father were out deer hunting in what was then the US Army Jefferson Proving Grounds, now known as Big Oaks Wildlife Preserve. The boy had sat at his tree since 5:00 a.m., and at around 11:00 a.m., he fell asleep. He was awoken by rustling footsteps in the dry Oak leaves behind him. Thinking it was his dad, he leaned around the tree and froze. Not 30 ft from him stood an ape-like creature on two legs. It had hair the color of ripe wheat and stood about 9 and 1/2 to 10 ft tall. Its face was flat and connected to what he described as a high forehead. The boy didn't get a good look at its eyes, but they seemed dark. He estimated its weight to be over 500 lb. The boy was in shock and slowly eased back around his tree, shaking in fear. These stories are a reminder that Sasquatch sightings are not uncommon and that many people have had similar experiences. As a researcher of these videos, it's always exciting to see new footage and hear firsthand accounts of encounters with these elusive creatures.
