Oklahoma Scout Leader's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter and Family Sightings

A recent video posted on the YouTube channel Uptown Horror has been making the rounds in the Bigfoot community, and it's easy to see why. The video features several intriguing stories of possible Sasquatch encounters, each one more fascinating than the last. The first account comes from a man who was volunteering as a backup scout leader at a Boy Scout camp in southeast Oklahoma in 2018. As he was walking back to his campsite after taking a shower, he noticed a strong musky odor and heard high-pitched squeals and low growls. Suddenly, a rock hit the tree next to him, and he saw a figure that was "sort of like a bear but standing up on its legs." The witness described the face as having "a face like a 70-year-old man" and the fur as being "longer than a bear." Next, the video features a story from the witness' cousin, who was camping in eastern Montana with his wife. They were the only ones camping in the area, and as they were sitting by the lake, the cousin saw something "sort of like a bear but standing up on its legs." His wife didn't believe him and thought it was just his overactive imagination, but later that night, they heard footsteps outside their tent. The witness' cousin saw a figure leaning down and gently pressing its hands around the corner of the tent. The figure eventually left, and in the morning, everything was untouched. The cousin later discovered that the area is known for Bigfoot sightings. The video also includes a story from the witness' childhood, where her family owned a cabin in rural Appalachian Kentucky. One day, while they were having a picnic in a field, the witness' father heard loud banging coming from the bottom of a steep hill. He walked to the crest of the hill and saw an enormous white creature standing on two feet, throwing logs over its head. The witness' mother saw it as well, and they quickly packed up and left. Years later, the witness' aunt shared a similar story from the same time period. She was picking blackberries in the woods when she saw a "bear" in the distance. However, as she watched it, she realized that it was standing on two feet and had a white coat of hair. She was convinced that she had seen a Bigfoot. Finally, the video features a story from an avid outdoorsman from Central Missouri. He was deer hunting on his family's farm when he heard coyotes and something bigger coming towards him. He was ready to shoot a coyote when he heard a loud, sustained whoop coming from right behind him. He was unable to identify the sound and was left feeling confused and curious about what he had heard. These stories are all intriguing and add to the ever-growing body of evidence suggesting that Sasquatch may indeed exist. While we may never have definitive proof, the continued sharing of these types of experiences helps to keep the mystery alive and keeps us all searching for the truth.
