Florida Campers Capture Possible Bigfoot on Thermal Camera in Torreya State Park

A recently surfaced video from the YouTube channel Kineez History is making waves in the Bigfoot community. The video, titled "5 Mysterious Bigfoot Encounters Explained: Chilling Night-time Sightings," features two campers in Quincy, Florida who had a close encounter with the elusive creature while camping in Torreya State Park in May 2012. The campers, Stacy Brown Sr. and Stacy Brown Jr., were equipped with a camera for night vision and were searching for Bigfoot when they began to hear strange sounds. They then took out their thermal camera and proceeded down a path. Stacy Jr. heard something running to their right and then to their left before coming to a sudden stop. His father then saw a small black item protruding from one side of a tree before it took off and went over a divide. The video footage captured by the Browns is truly breathtaking and has been viewed thousands of times on YouTube. The video shows a small black figure moving quickly through the woods before disappearing behind some trees. Some have speculated that the figure could be a Bigfoot, while others believe it may be a person or another animal. To get to the bottom of this mystery, the Kineez History team consulted with several experts, including a wildlife biologist and an anthropologist. The wildlife biologist observed that the figure's motion appeared to be that of a different animal, while the anthropologist noted that the figure's legs appeared too long for a gorilla and that its gait was similar to descriptions of Bigfoot's gate. Despite the conflicting opinions, the video has certainly sparked renewed interest in the search for Bigfoot. Some have even suggested that the figure in the video may be a new subspecies of the creature, known as the Florida Skunk Ape. As a Bigfoot believer and a curator for Squatchable, I am always excited to see new footage and hear about close encounters with this elusive creature.
