Hiker's Encounter with 8-ft Tall Bigfoot in Bailey, Colorado's Ridge Walker Area

The witness, Ray, was hiking with two friends in August 2011 when they had an up-close encounter with this elusive creature. Ray describes the Bigfoot as being about 8 feet tall, covered in brownish-gray hair, and having a wide nose and dark eyes with a "pissed off" look on its face. As Ray's friends were ahead of him on the trail, a giant rock, the size of a mailbox, came crashing into the area where Ray was standing. The rock had landed vertically, not as if it had rolled down the hill, but as if it had been thrown. Ray states that the creature grunted at him before disappearing into the woods. When Ray's friends came to investigate, all they found was a trail of broken limbs. The limbs were green and varied in size from the size of Ray's arms to the size of his calves. Ray mentioned that the creature smelled like a long-haired, wet, and muddy dog. The sighting has left Ray shaken, as he had served in the military and had never been scared like this before. The area near Bailey, Colorado, is known for having a high concentration of Sasquatch sightings.
