The article tells the story of Lieutenant Barker and his men, who discovered large, non-human footprints while on an Indian hunt in the vicinity of Wiser, Idaho. The footprints were described as being 17 1/2 inches long and 7 inches wide, and were attributed to a creature known as Bigfoot. However, it is unclear whether the term "Bigfoot" in this context refers to the legendary creature or to a historical figure, as the article also mentions a Pyute war chief by the name of Hoock, who was also known as Bigfoot. The video then moves on to discuss a more recent account from January 27th, 1902, in which a group of young people in Chesterfield, Idaho reported sighting a "hair-covered human monster" while skating along the Portnof River.
