Louisiana Convict Encounters Monstrous Beast on Chain Gang: A Bigfoot Sighting

A harrowing tale of an encounter with a large, hairy creature has been shared on the YouTube channel Cryptid Mysterious. The video, titled "Bigfoot KILLED My Friend!", features a firsthand account of a sighting in Louisiana in 1967. The witness, Reggie, recounts his experience while serving time for grand theft. He was assigned to a chain gang for road work in the northeast section of Louisiana. It was during one of these workdays that the sighting occurred. Reggie and his fellow inmates were startled when one of the men was hit in the forehead. As they looked around for the source of the attack, they spotted a large, hairy beast standing in a small opening in the woods. The creature was about 9 or 10 feet tall and covered in long grayish hair. The guard ordered the men to put down their shovels and sit in a circle. He then took his shotgun and fired two rounds at the creature, which screamed and ran off into the woods. Despite being hit, the creature was able to run a great distance before disappearing. Reggie describes the creature as having a body consisting of one muscle upon another, and at least 4 feet wide at the shoulders. He and the other inmates were visibly shaken by the encounter. After being released from prison, Reggie never forgot the events of that day. He had always wanted to return to the spot where the sighting occurred, but has yet to do so.
