A fascinating account of an encounter with possible Bigfoot creatures has been shared on the YouTube channel Creek Devil. The video, titled "What's Lurking in the Woods of Pierce County? The BIGFOOT Phenomenon," features a two-time witness and field researcher with over 40 years of experience. In the video, the witness recounts an incident from August 1967 at Fort Lewis, Washington. A soldier there saw three large individuals, two of them very large and the other about two-thirds of their size. The witnesses initially thought they were part of a capture team looking for them during escape and evasion training. However, as they got closer, they realized something was not right. The individuals were moving too fast and quietly for bears or people, and they had a strange odor that the witness couldn't describe. The witness and his friend ran and hid under a large pine tree, feeling the presence of the creatures but not daring to move. They stayed there for about 15 minutes before making a run for the road. The witness described the area where the encounter took place as "Bigfoot country," and he had heard similar stories from other military bases. Another account shared in the video comes from Mineral Lake near the town of Elbe, also in Pierce County. In June 1995, two campers at the Corral Pass Campground heard movement in the bushes and saw a doe staring at them. Later, they heard a rhythmic sound and saw two large legs with black and long hair, covered with a definite bend where the knee would be located. The campers could not see the entire figure, but they knew they were being watched. At 3:00 a.m., they were awakened by heavy pounding on the ground near their tent, followed by high shrill screams from 20 yards away. The campers were terrified and packed their tent quickly, moving as close as possible to a large group of loud drinking campers on the other side of the campground. The witness in the video emphasized that these types of reports are common in the area and that there seems to be a corridor of travel between Mount Rainier and Fort Lewis. The video is a must-watch for anyone interested in Bigfoot sightings and encounters. I am always excited to come across new accounts and stories of possible Bigfoot encounters. The witness's experience and the details he shared in the video are intriguing and add to the growing body of evidence suggesting that Bigfoot may indeed exist in the woods of Pierce County and beyond. I encourage all of our readers to check out the video and share their thoughts on the encounter.
