A new video has been making the rounds on YouTube, featuring several intriguing accounts of possible Bigfoot sightings in British Columbia. The video, posted by the channel Bigfoot Encounters Narrated, shares the stories of several individuals who claim to have encountered the elusive creature in the wilderness of BC.
One of the accounts takes place near Shaigan Lake in 1974, where a group of cousins went for a walk in the woods and heard crashing in the tree line. Thinking it might be a bear, they hid behind a fallen tree and waited. To their surprise, they saw a tall, hairy creature with long arms and legs, walking with a slight hump. The creature seemed to be smelling the air in their direction before disappearing back into the woods.
Another account comes from Wayne Jones, who was camping with a group of youth project boys in Westminster County in 1974. According to Jones, a 7 to 8 foot tall hairy creature approached their campsite and licked mud off its fingers for five minutes before being scared away by a flashlight. Footprints were found the next morning, measuring 16 inches long by 6 inches wide.
The video also includes an account from an individual who saw a tall, dark creature standing near their house on Okanagan Lake in 1974. The creature was stooped under the patio eve and had arms that hung by its side. The witness was only 8 years old at the time and didn't tell anyone about the encounter until many years later.
Another sighting was reported near Fort St John in 1977, where a group of five people came upon a huge set of footprints while fishing on Bull Moose Creek. The prints were at least a week old and measured 17 inches long by 10 inches wide, with four enormous toes and a big heel like a human foot.
The final account in the video takes place near Prince George in 1977, where an individual saw a dark brown creature walking like a human on the side of the road. The creature was taller than 6 feet and covered in hair.
These accounts add to the growing body of evidence suggesting that Bigfoot may indeed exist in the wilderness of British Columbia. While some may be skeptical, these individuals are convinced that they saw something extraordinary that day.
