East Texas Couple's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter: Deer Legs & Unusual Activity

A fascinating account of a possible Bigfoot encounter has been making the rounds on YouTube, and I couldn't resist sharing it with our readers. The testimony comes from a man named Mike, who hails from East Texas, an area well-known for its Bigfoot sightings and activity. Mike and his wife have had a series of strange experiences on their property, which is located on the outskirts of a large forest. Their home is over 60 years old, and they have never had any issues with trespassers or poachers until recently. In fact, Mike believes that his shooting practice with his 45s and 50 caliber guns has helped keep intruders at bay. However, in October 2020, Mike's wife heard a man's voice outside their glass door, which connects to their carport. Despite looking out the window, she saw no one. She initially brushed it off as an auditory hallucination, but later wondered if it could have been something more. In April 2022, both Mike and his wife heard a sound coming from the forest. Mike asked his wife if she had heard it before, and she admitted that she had, but had always assumed it was an owl. This is a common response from people who hear Bigfoot vocalizations, as they can often be mistaken for other animals. During a hike at a nearby state park in May 2022, Mike and his wife discovered two lower front legs of a deer that had been torn off and placed side by side. While they didn't see any signs of blood or ants, they did notice that the hide was mangled around the edges. This is a behavior that has been reported by other Bigfoot witnesses, who have observed the creatures tearing off the legs of their prey to hobble them and keep them from escaping. In December 2022, Mike's wife heard loud footsteps crunching around in the backyard, right up against the wall of their den. She couldn't see anything outside, but the sound was so loud that she could hear it through the wall. However, it was in March 2023 that things really started to get strange. Mike had been trying to develop a back area behind their house as a feed plot for deer, and had put out a jar of peanut butter as a lure. When he went to check on it a few days later, he found that the lid had been unscrewed and the jar was completely empty. Mike initially brushed it off as raccoons, but later wondered if something more unusual could be at play. Mike then decided to try some of the calls used by the Bigfoot researchers on the television show "Finding Bigfoot," and soon after, found a pile of scat near his deer feeder. The scat was about 6 inches in diameter and an inch and a half tall, and was filled with blackberry seeds. While none of these experiences can be definitively linked to Bigfoot, they certainly make for an intriguing story.
