A new found footage monster movie titled "Shadows of Bigfoot" has recently caught my attention, and I'm excited to share my thoughts on it with all of you fellow Bigfoot enthusiasts. The movie follows a group of investigative journalists, Grace Drew and Jake, who run a YouTube channel where they document their adventures in the woods. They're on a mission to get an exclusive interview with an old hermit named Jeb McCoy, who was accused of killing his own wife but was later acquitted. The movie starts off with a bang as we see a group of hunters getting attacked in the woods. From there, we're introduced to the main characters and their quest to find Jeb. The movie takes a turn when they come across a man who warns them about the real monsters in the woods - the people living there. One thing that sets this found footage movie apart from others is the use of music. While it's typically not used in this genre, I found that it added to the overall atmosphere and helped to build tension. The suit used for Bigfoot was also well done and not just an off-the-shelf Halloween costume. The movie takes a dark turn when Grace steps on a bear trap and is later attacked by Bigfoot. Jake is also taken out, leaving only Drew alive. The movie ends with Drew giving a final testimony to the camera before wandering off into the woods. Overall, I would give "Shadows of Bigfoot" a rating of 3 out of 4 creepy dudes chilling in the woods. While it doesn't bring anything new to the table in terms of found footage Bigfoot movies, it's still an enjoyable watch with good production value. If you're a fan of Indie flicks and have already watched other popular Bigfoot movies like "Exists", "Willow Creek", and "Bigfoot the Lost Coast Tapes", then I recommend giving this one a shot. It's a quick watch at just over an hour and 13 minutes long, and it's sure to keep your attention. As a researcher of all things Bigfoot, I encourage all of you to check out this movie for yourself and form your own opinions. Who knows, it might just become one of your new favorites in the genre. Happy watching!
