A chilling encounter with the unknown was recently shared on the YouTube channel Adirondack Bigfoot, and it has left the Bigfoot community buzzing with excitement. The video, titled "Bigfoot North Hampton NY - location investigation and witness interview," features a firsthand account of a possible Bigfoot encounter at the Great Sacandaga Lake Northampton Beach Campground.
The witness, Scott, recounts his experience during a camping trip in September 2021. He arrived at the campground on a Sunday and was surprised to find that there were only a few other campers around, despite it being a popular time of year for camping. As he set up his tent, he heard two distinct wood knocks that he couldn't explain away as natural sounds.
"I split my own wood when I go camping, and I know what I've been in the woods long enough to know what branches sound like when they break, I know what a tree sounds like when it falls in the woods," Scott explains. "This was two wood knocks, one right after the other. It was not somebody's axe, it was not somebody splitting wood, it was not a tree breaking, it was not a branch breaking. It was deliberate, it was made."
Shortly after hearing the wood knocks, Scott heard a howl in the distance. "I can't recreate what I heard, it was a response to the knocks, but it was distant, it was beyond where I'm thinking it was in the marsh," he says.
As the night went on, Scott heard rustling outside his tent. He went to investigate and found that his garbage bag had been disturbed. "It was almost like it was done with a degree of trying to be silent," he recalls. The next morning, he checked the bag and found that it was undamaged, leaving him to wonder what had caused the disturbance.
The video features an interview with Scott, as well as a location investigation of the campground. The Adirondack Bigfoot team explores the area and discusses the possible evidence of Bigfoot activity.
I am always intrigued by firsthand accounts of possible encounters. Scott's story is particularly chilling, as the wood knocks and howls are classic signs of Bigfoot activity. The fact that the disturbance to his garbage bag was done with a degree of stealth adds to the intrigue.
The Adirondack Bigfoot team does an excellent job of investigating the location and discussing the evidence. Their expertise and knowledge of Bigfoot behavior add to the credibility of the video.
If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, this video is a must-watch. It's always exciting to hear about new possible encounters, and the Adirondack Bigfoot team does an excellent job of sharing the story with the community. Be sure to check out the video and let us know what you think!
