A fascinating account of a possible Sasquatch encounter has been making the rounds on YouTube, and I couldn't resist sharing it with our readers. The video features an interview with a man named Ryan from Victoria, British Columbia, who describes his experiences with Sasquatch, starting from when he was just 11 years old.
Ryan's experience with Sasquatch began when he saw two "gorilla-looking" creatures wearing sun hats made of reeds while on a train with his family. Although he didn't realize it at the time, this encounter sparked his interest in Sasquatch, and he eventually got his first book on the subject.
Years later, Ryan had another encounter while working as a logger. He saw something jump in, look at him, and jump out, but he didn't think much of it at the time. However, in 1989 or 1990, Ryan had a more significant encounter while on an Outward Bound course in Camp Snowden, a former prison and logging camp.
Ryan and his group were on a five-day expedition when they noticed a large object floating in the water. They initially thought it might be a whale or a sea lion, but they couldn't be sure. As they canoed to their destination, they heard a distinct wood knock, which one of the counselors identified as a possible sign of Sasquatch.
When they arrived at their campsite, Ryan found a perfect spot to set up his tent, but his First Nations friend warned him that it looked like an animal's nest. Ryan dismissed the warning, but later that night, he heard a sound that he couldn't identify. It was a "woop" followed by a strange noise that he had never heard before.
The next day, Ryan saw a female Sasquatch in an Egyptian pose, and then a male Sasquatch stepped out from behind her. Ryan described the male as being between 9 and 13 feet tall and looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger times 10 on steroids.
Ryan's account is a fascinating one, and it's definitely worth checking out the video for yourself. While we can't confirm the validity of his claims, they are certainly intriguing and add to the growing body of anecdotal evidence suggesting that Sasquatch may indeed exist.
I find Ryan's account to be compelling, and I hope that more people will take the time to listen to his story. Who knows, maybe one day we'll have definitive proof that Sasquatch is real, but until then, we can only rely on accounts like Ryan's to keep the mystery alive.
