The family left the area, but later that night, Shannon's brother-in-law discovered large, mysterious footprints nearby. Another sighting occurred in June of 1991, near Lake Louise, Alberta. Shannon's brother, who was hiking in front, saw the creature clearly and described it as being around 6 feet tall, with long blonde hair and an overabundance of hair all over its body. The creature seemed to have knocked over a tree as it ran away, causing the group to quickly leave the area. In September 1993, near Norde, Alberta, Shannon and a group of friends went for a nighttime walk and stumbled upon an old cemetery. As they were heading back, they saw a creature standing on top of a 50-foot tower. When it jumped off, they could see its long hair and muscular build. The creature then ran into the bushes, causing the group to hear breaking branches and a loud, eerie scream. Lastly, in July 1995, near Jasper, Alberta, Shannon and a friend were hiking on the Sulfur Ridge Trail when they saw a dark brown, hair-covered creature standing upright on the summit. The creature ran down the mountain face at an incredible speed, causing Shannon and her friend to realize that they had just witnessed something extraordinary.
