Little did they know, their journey would lead them to a horrific nightmare that would change their lives forever. Upon arriving at their Airbnb in the small town of Weed, they discovered a pamphlet from a local religious organization called the Church of Light and Life. Curious, they decided to attend a meeting, hoping to gather information about potential paranormal hotspots in the area. During their visit, they encountered an 8-9 foot tall, lanky, and emaciated creature covered in long, wispy, light gray fur. The group gave chase, hoping to capture evidence of the mysterious being. However, the creature vanished without a trace as soon as it entered the tree line. The group became separated during the pursuit, and one of the members, Elden, had a terrifying encounter with the creature. It whispered something to his wife, Judy, placing each of its claw hands over her ears. The creature then paralyzed Elden, leaving him unable to move as it hypnotized Judy. The creature's eyes glowed with an intense blue light, and Judy entered a catatonic state from which she has never fully recovered. The group's misfortune did not end there. Upon returning to their vehicle, they discovered a large puddle of blood and what appeared to be Elden's severed hand. As they walked down the dark service road, a white school bus with blacked-out windows approached, and the driver handed Elden's arm back to the group.
