Family's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter in Kentucky's Land Between the Lakes

A thrilling account of a Sasquatch encounter has been shared on the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel. The witness, Mike Smith, is an avid hiker and fisherman who has spent much of his life exploring the Land Between the Lakes (LBL) area of Kentucky. Mike's encounter took place on May 10, 2020, while he was out on Kentucky Lake with his family. They had initially planned to fish, but due to high winds, they decided to build a fire and cook hot dogs on a rocky bank instead. As they were preparing to leave, they heard a knock, which Mike initially assumed was from other people. However, when he took a stick and knocked it against a tree, they heard another knock in response, this time from a distance of about 100 yards. Curious, Mike and his family decided to investigate and ventured down the bank to where they had heard the second knock. To their surprise, they saw a Bigfoot standing in a sunlit spot, about 7-8 feet tall, with broad shoulders and a conical-shaped head. The creature then ran away from them, and they heard guttural, frustrated screams as they were putting their boat back on the trailer. Mike contacted Charlie Raymond of the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization, who took his report and later investigated the scene with him. Mike's daughter also reported seeing two Bigfoots during their encounter. This encounter is a fascinating account of a Sasquatch sighting and serves as a reminder of the mysterious creatures that may still be out there, waiting to be discovered.
