Central Washington: A Hotspot for Sasquatch Encounters If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you'll want to add Central Washington to your list of must-visit destinations. Known for its picturesque landscapes and abundant wildlife, this region is also a hotspot for Sasquatch sightings and encounters. Recently, a group of campers shared their experiences on the YouTube channel Salish Sasquatch, and their stories are nothing short of fascinating. The first camper, hailing from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, recounts a backpacking trip in Lewis County, Washington. During their adventure, they heard a series of eerie sounds that they believe were made by a Sasquatch. The chilling scream-howl was followed by two distinct rock claps, leaving the camper in awe and with a newfound respect for the elusive creature. Another camper, who grew up in Missouri, shares her first encounter with Sasquatch on a backpacking trip in Mount Three Fingers, Washington. While hiking with a group of kids, they heard a loud, inhumanly loud sound that knocked the number of people in their group on the tree. The adult leader dismissed it as a woodpecker, but the camper couldn't shake off the feeling that they had just encountered something otherworldly. During a camping trip in the Cascades, one of the campers witnessed a tall, slender figure that was very tall and had a conical-shaped head. The figure, which was about 80 feet away, turned its head and looked directly at the camper before disappearing into the woods. A few nights later, the same group heard a deep, raspy voice from a distance that seemed to mimic their conversation. These stories serve as a reminder that Sasquatch sightings are not limited to remote, uninhabited areas. Central Washington, with its vast wilderness and abundant wildlife, is a prime location for those seeking a glimpse of the elusive creature. If you're interested in learning more about these encounters, be sure to check out the Salish Sasquatch YouTube channel.
