A father and son reported seeing a large humanlike figure covered in reddish brown fur walking down a mountain. The creature stood at an estimated height of 7 or 8 feet tall and effortlessly stepped over a fur sapling. The witnesses described the creature as having a thickly forested area with a clear-cut hillside as its environment. The fourth account is from 2003, in Del Norte County, California. A man reported seeing a human-shaped figure on the side of the road while driving home along Highway 101. The creature was much taller than the man's Jeep and leaped off the road and disappeared into the darkness below. The man reported feeling a sense of fear and awe at the same time. The video also includes an account from 1979, in Del Norte County, California. A group of friends reported seeing a set of glowing red eyes staring back at them from about 50 feet away. The eyes seemed to emit their own eerie glow and were about 8 feet off the ground. The witnesses described the location as a densely wooded mountainous area filled with old growth redwood trees.
