A chilling tale of a hunter's encounter with the unknown has recently emerged, and I couldn't help but share this haunting story with our fellow Bigfoot enthusiasts. The video in question, discovered on the YouTube channel Remote Cabin Radio, recounts a "Class A" Sasquatch encounter that took place in the remote wilderness of British Columbia, near the small rural community of Riske Creek.
The story begins in August 1960, when a young rodeo star from Washington joined three seasoned trappers on a canoe trip into the unspoiled wilderness of British Columbia. The group, consisting of experienced hunters and woodsmen, set out on their journey, traveling light and relying on the land to provide most of their sustenance.
As they made their way up a series of lakes and creeks, the group encountered a group of indigenous people in three canoes. After a brief exchange of goods and pleasantries, the native group hurriedly continued on their way, leaving the hunters with a sense of unease.
The following night, the group set up camp on the north bank of a river. Exhausted from the day's journey, they went to sleep, unaware of the mysterious events that would unfold in the dead of night. A deafening crash startled Jim and the narrator awake, and they quickly grabbed their guns, expecting to find a bear raiding their supplies. Instead, they found that a large boulder had smashed into their camp, destroying their cooking equipment.
As panic set in, another even larger rock came crashing through kiden and Earl's tent. The men realized that the rocks had been hurled into their camp with purpose and that no human could have done it. In the midst of the chaos, they heard a low hooting call like nothing they had ever heard before.
When dawn finally broke, the hunters surveyed the devastation. Nine large rocks littered the camp, some weighing up to 200 pounds. The canoes were miraculously unharmed, but the rest of the campsite was in shambles. As they packed up and got back on the river, they discovered that the meat cache was empty, with no trace of the meat, logs, or ropes.
The men fled the area as fast as their canoes could carry them, not stopping until they were far from that cursed campsite. Years later, the events of that trip still haunt the narrator, with Jim and kid now gone, and Earl's fate unknown.
The video leaves us with a lingering sense of unease and a reminder that there are things in this world that defy explanation. While we may not have all the answers, the mysterious events recounted in this chilling tale serve as a reminder of the unknown that still exists in the wilderness.
As Bigfoot believers, we encourage our fellow enthusiasts to watch the video and share their thoughts on this haunting encounter. Who knows what secrets still lie hidden in the wilderness, waiting to be discovered?
