Kentucky Grandfather's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter from the 1930s

The encounter took place on his family's farm in rural Kentucky, near the Daniel Boone forest. The area had been plagued by mysterious animal disappearances, with only bits and pieces of the animals found in the woods. The farm family, including the young boy, were responsible for checking the fences and property for any signs of damage or repair. One day, while checking the fence, the boy caught a glimpse of a face in the woods. He described it as a "cinnamon red" color, not black like King Kong, but still close enough. The creature stood up and began making a "beine" right towards him, causing the boy to run for his life towards the barn. As he ran, he heard a "thunking" noise behind him and knew that the creature had thrown something at him. When he reached the barn, he told his father about the encounter and they went to investigate. They found the spade from the wheelbarrow buried in the ground, with the metal handle sticking out at an angle. The boy knew then that the creature had thrown it at him. The father and son continued to walk further out to where the wheelbarrow had been, but it was nowhere to be found. They searched the area and found several tools that had been thrown into the woods. The wheelbarrow itself had been picked up and tossed a significant distance into the woods. The boy was asked again and again what he saw and he described the creature as best he could. His father, understandably concerned, tried to make sense of what had happened. This video is a fascinating account of a possible Sasquatch encounter and the aftermath.
