A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon an intriguing video on YouTube from the channel Bigfoot Society. The video features an interview with Darrell Adams, who shares his experiences at the Owl Moon Wilderness in Cottage Grove, Oregon. If you're not familiar with the name, Darrell Adams is one of the main characters in Tobe Johnson's book "The Owl Moon Lab: A Paranormal Experiment."
Darrell moved to Oregon in 2011 and started hearing strange sounds near his home, which is located near a large wilderness area. These sounds were unlike anything he had ever heard before, and he couldn't identify the animals that were making them. This led him to start recording the sounds, and what he captured was truly bizarre.
Darrell's brother, who is also interested in Bigfoot, introduced him to Ron Morehead and Bob Gimlin at the Beachfoot conference in Oregon. Darrell played some of his recordings for them, and they were blown away by what they heard. Ron Morehead suggested that Darrell reach out to Tobe Johnson, who lived nearby in Springfield.
Darrell and Tobe hit it off immediately, and Tobe moved his travel trailer onto Darrell's property to start investigating the strange sounds. During one of their hunts, they discovered fresh knee impressions in the red clay on a logging road. They made plaster casts of the impressions and found that they were from a non-human, lower extremity.
Tobe sent the hair they found at the site to Cindy Dosen, a vet and scientist with the Olympic Project. She determined that the hair was from an unknown human-like creature. Darrell and Tobe continued to investigate the strange sounds and phenomena on the property, and they collected over 1,200 hours of audio recordings.
One of the most interesting sounds they captured was a Bigfoot yell, which is used at the beginning of every episode of Expedition Bigfoot. Darrell also has other recordings of the creatures talking, which sound like a Native American having a child with an oriental lady, as Darrell describes it.
Overall, this video is a fascinating glimpse into the world of Bigfoot research. It's always exciting to hear about new discoveries and evidence of these elusive creatures. If you're a Bigfoot believer, I highly recommend checking out this video and Tobe Johnson's book. Who knows, maybe one day we'll have definitive proof of the existence of Bigfoot!
