A fascinating account of a possible Bigfoot encounter has been shared on the Pikuni Bigfoot Storytelling Project YouTube channel. The witness, Ron, describes his experience from 1972 when he and his friends were out shooting rabbits near Morgan Lake in East Glacier.
Ron explains that they noticed a large, black figure in the distance, which they initially thought was a man. However, as they watched the figure move, they realized that it was unlike anything they had ever seen before. The figure was massive, with long arms that hung down to its sides, and it moved in a strange, lumbering manner.
After the encounter, Ron told his father about what he had seen, and his father showed him a magazine article about Bigfoot. Ron recognized the creature in the article as the one he had seen in the woods.
Ron's account is particularly interesting because he is a member of the Blackfeet Nation, and his description of the creature is consistent with traditional stories of the "Stick Indian" or "Stick Man," a large, hairy creature that is said to roam the forests and mountains of the Blackfeet Reservation.
The Pikuni Bigfoot Storytelling Project is dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories and experiences of Bigfoot witnesses from the Blackfeet Nation. This account is just one of many that have been shared on their channel, and it provides valuable insight into the rich cultural history of the Blackfeet people and their relationship with the natural world.
