In a recent video from the YouTube channel Small Town Monsters, we join Cliff Barackman, co-host of the show "Bigfoot Beyond the Trail," as he revisits the North American Bigfoot Center in the Mount Hood area of Oregon. The center, which opened in 2019, is dedicated to educating the public, curating historical collections, and using incoming data to drive field research. Barackman speaks with us about the countless reports of Bigfoot sightings they have received since the center's opening, with a focus on those from Oregon and Washington. The team at the North American Bigfoot Center documents these reports and adds them to a location sightings map for their own internal use. One of the more interesting reports comes from a researcher who saw two Sasquatches on the same road where Barackman has casted footprints multiple times. The animals were observed to be the 14-inch foot and the 12-inch foot, which the team has been tracking for years. Barackman also shares his experience at the Sandy Ridge Trail Head, where he received a report of a sighting just 8 miles from his front door. Upon investigating the location with the witnesses, they found 150 yards of tracks and Barackman was able to make seven casts from the same trackway. Three months later, more tracks appeared less than a mile away and Barackman returned to the location to find even more evidence. The North American Bigfoot Center is an invaluable resource for those interested in the study of Sasquatch, as it attracts witnesses from the local area and provides a hub for the documentation and research of sightings. The team's dedication to tracking these animals and studying their tracks is crucial to learning more about the species and its behavior. Mount Hood National Forest, one of the busiest National Forests in the country, is home to many Sasquatches. With the high volume of visitors, it's no surprise that there are numerous sighting reports in the area. However, finding a place to share these sightings can be difficult. The North American Bigfoot Center provides a valuable platform for witnesses to share their experiences and contribute to the ongoing research and study of Sasquatch. I am always excited to see the work being done by the North American Bigfoot Center and the discoveries made by Cliff Barackman and his team. The video is a must-watch for anyone interested in the study of Sasquatch and the ongoing search for these elusive creatures.
