A new investigation has recently come to light regarding the infamous Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage from 1967. The footage, captured at Bluff Creek in Northern California, depicts what appears to be a female Bigfoot, known as "Patty." The authenticity of the footage has been debated for years, with some believing it to be a man in a monkey suit, while others are convinced it is real.
A high-resolution AI enhancement of the Patterson-Gimlin film has recently been released, and in the opinion of some, it may very well depict a living, breathing creature with heavy breathing and rippling quadricep and tricep muscles. The idea of large, rippling muscles being difficult to fake in a monkey suit has led some to believe that there is more to the story than what has been told.
I had the opportunity to speak with my friend Dave Alman, who has worked in Hollywood for over 20 years in music, film, and TV. He currently does production and development work for different networks and production companies on topics of UFOs, the paranormal, and more. Dave has been involved with projects for Steven Spielberg, JJ Abrams, and many others, and has also appeared in the film "A Tear in the Sky."
Dave called me with some information he was tracking regarding the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage. He had been investigating the alleged loss of the original copy of the film, which was in the camera that the footage was filmed on. According to Dave, the original film has been lost for 50 years, but he has reason to believe that it may have been found in someone's attic.
Dave's investigation leads him to believe that the original film was given to a man by Roger Patterson, who owed him money and lost it to him in a game of cards. This man, who was friends with Patterson, became good friends with Bruce Mcabe, a video analyst for the CIA. Bruce ended up marrying a woman named Jan, who was a Bigfoot lover.
Years later, Jan found the film in the attic and watched it on a 16mm projector. As she was watching, she noticed something unusual - another Bigfoot, this one appearing to be a juvenile. Dave reached out to Bruce about the footage, and Bruce confirmed that he had a copy of the film that showed a small Bigfoot. However, he was keeping quiet on the evidence until it had been fully analyzed.
Unfortunately, Bruce has since passed away, leaving Jan to deal with the aftermath. Dave has been in contact with Jan and is hoping to release the footage in a documentary about Bruce Mcabe.
This new information has sparked renewed interest in the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage and the potential existence of Bigfoot. While the authenticity of the footage is still up for debate, the possibility of new evidence is an exciting development for Bigfoot enthusiasts and researchers.
