In a recent video posted on the Buckeye Bigfoot YouTube channel, a man named Greg shares his encounter with what he believes to be a Sasquatch in Northern California. Excitement Level: 7
Greg was hiking along the train tracks near Mount Shasta, California, trying to make his way to meet up with friends for a camping trip. He settled down for the night near the Sacramento River, but was awakened by strange vocalizations coming from the riverbank. At first, he thought it might be people canoeing, but soon realized it was the middle of the night and the sounds were not moving.
The vocals were throaty and echoed from a big diaphragm, and Greg could discern at least two different voices having a conversation using speech patterns and cadences that were not human. As he listened, he heard the sound of stones being hit together and then metallic clanging as the creatures began banging stones on the train tracks. He could hear their footsteps and the sound of rocks tumbling as they got closer to his location.
Fearful of being discovered, Greg quickly packed up his belongings and began to retreat up the hillside towards the interstate. He could hear limbs moving and rocks rolling behind him, and was certain he was being followed. Once he reached the interstate, he walked facing traffic and kept looking behind him to see if the creatures were following. After about 20 minutes, he felt sure they had finally left the area.
Greg is certain that he was being stalked by a Sasquatch, and believes the area of California he was in is known for such encounters. He has never heard anything like the vocalizations he heard that night, and is convinced that they were not made by any animal he is familiar with.
If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, this video is definitely worth a watch. Greg's encounter is both fascinating and chilling, and adds to the growing body of evidence that Sasquatches may indeed exist. You can check out the video for yourself on the Buckeye Bigfoot YouTube channel.
