Cryptic Encounters: Mysterious Disappearance at Sea and Haunting Okinawa Base

The captain told him of a strange incident that occurred while they were off the coast of Alaska on a 270-foot cutter. A new crew member, who was nearly mute, was working on the ship. One night, the captain saw what he thought were hands grasping the side of the ship. He saw a black shape climb onto the ship, which is impossible in the open ocean. When the crew searched the ship, the new crew member, Ben, was gone. His belongings were still by his bunk, and nobody had seen him leave or fall overboard. An investigation was conducted, but Ben was never found. The captain believed that whatever climbed onto the ship that night took Ben. While stationed on a base in Okinawa from 2015 to 2017, he worked with ammunition and explosives in a gated off 250-acre area on the cliff side. He learned that the area had multiple mass grave sites from World War II. One day, an elderly Japanese woman and a large group toured the area and pointed out some sites. Old Hillbilly Horror's actual experience that scared him happened one night when he had to go to the area during off hours to reset an alarm. While there, he heard a loud, blood-curdling scream that gave him and the MPs with him quite a scare. They saw branches and foliage moving as if something was running towards them. The guards at the front gate weren't surprised and said they hear crazy things all the time, sometimes seeing black figures walking in the distance.
