Recently, I came across a fascinating video on YouTube from the channel Sinister Secrets, featuring cryptids sightings in New Jersey. The video is a compilation of various news reports and witness accounts of strange creatures spotted in the area.
The video starts with an incident from 1909, where several telephone linesmen in Atlantic County, New Jersey, reported seeing a "Big Bird" with a head like a horse, wings like a bat, and a long rat-like tail. The creature was described as dragging one wing and uttering hideous screams as it ran with long strides. In another incident, the Jersey Devil was seen by the town's fire department, who tried to spray it with water from fire hoses. The creature became enraged and swooped down on them, causing a statewide outbreak of panic and fear.
In July 1924, a police patrolman in Essex County, New Jersey, reported seeing an unknown type of animal with the head of a deer running like a rabbit and having flaming red eyes. The creature was also seen by Mrs. Clyde and others, who described it as having a huge body and taking flight.
The video also features a sighting from 1930 in Warren County, New Jersey, where Howard and John saw a creature with the body of a man, the head of a cow, large bat wings, and big feet. The creature flew off into the sky, dragging its feet.
In 1960, a 25-year-old woman in Ocean County, New Jersey, reported seeing a little manly creature with fur, sitting on its hunches in the middle of the road while flapping its wings. The creature moved aside just fast enough to let the car pass, beating its wings in a threatening manner.
In 1966, Fred, a young man in Atlantic County, New Jersey, reported seeing the biggest scariest bird-like creature he had ever seen, with eyes glaring and a wingspan of over 20 ft. The creature flew silently across the pond and looked like it had fur rather than feathers.
The video also includes a witness account from 1953 in Burlington County, New Jersey, where a scout troop of about 20 girls, ages 8 to 10, and three camp counselors heard thrashing of the bushes, tree knocking, and loud whistling around their campsite. The counselors decided that everyone was to stay near the fire where they could do head counts, and they were told to stay in their sleeping bags all around the fire and not to move or leave.
I find these accounts intriguing and exciting. The witnesses' descriptions of the creatures' physical attributes and behaviors are consistent with what we know about Bigfoot or Sasquatch. The fact that these sightings have been reported over a century in various parts of New Jersey is a testament to the existence of these elusive creatures.
I encourage all Bigfoot enthusiasts to watch the video and share their thoughts. Let's continue to explore and learn more about these fascinating creatures and their place in our world.
