North Carolina Jogger's Close Encounter with a 6-7 Foot Bigfoot on Ly Creek Greenway

The witness, an elected official in Conover, North Carolina, wishes to remain anonymous for fear of being identified. They were jogging on the Lyle Creek Greenway, a part of the Carolina Thread Trail, when they had a startling encounter. As the jogger approached the final stretch of their routine, they suddenly felt a tingling sensation all over their body. They looked to their left and saw something massive jump across the trail, clearing it with ease. The witness described the creature as being at least six to seven feet tall, with dark fur. They were so frightened that they ran to their car and drove away, feeling shaken and terrified. The witness later reached out to Squatch Watchers, who agreed to meet them and investigate the area. They were taken to the location of the sighting, which was near a fire hydrant and a manhole cover. The witness was adamant that they would never return to this area, still shaken by the encounter. Squatch Watchers explored the area, using scent repellent to keep Bigfoots away, as well as night vision equipment to see in the dark woods. They found evidence that something had been in the area, but couldn't say for certain what it was. The witness's story is a chilling reminder of the power and mystery of Bigfoot.
